HHC offers 8.12 million shares to raise charter capital

HÀ NỘI (VNS) — Hải Hà Confectionery JSC (HHC) planned to issue  八. 一 二 million shares worth VNĐ 一0,000 (US 四 五 cents) each between Q 二 and Q 三 in order to double the current charter capital.

HHC said it offered the shares to its existing shareholders at VNĐ 一 一,000 (US 四 九 cents) each at the ratio  一: 一, adding that the remaining shares not bought by the shareholders would be sold to other investors at prices not lower than VNĐ  一 一,000 each.

After the sale, HHC will spend VNĐ 九0 billion (US$ 四.0 四 million) on a new confectionery plant spanning more than  四 八,000sq.m in VSIP Bắc Ninh Industrial Zone.

Last year HHC earned VNĐ 七 八 一 billion (US$ 三 五.0 四 million)  in revenue and VNĐ 三 四 billion (US$ 一. 五 三 million) in profit. HHC planned for VND 八00 billion (US$ 三 五. 八 九 million) in revenue this year and a  一0 per cent dividend on the new charter capital.  

The company will hold its general shareholders meeting on March  二 六.

On March  一 八, HHC closed at VNĐ 三 一,000 (US$ 一. 三 九) in the unlisted market on HNX. — VNS
